Hi, how was your day? It was cold here today. By the way, do you like salmon roe(Ikura)? In Japan, salmon roe is very popular. Yeah, I love it. But,I heard these are not eaten much in other country. Unbelievable! Well, autumn is the best season for salmon roe. We usually put them in salt or soy souse and eat. So, I bought the block of salmon roe(Sujiko), broke up it and made the soy soused salmon roe. It was so beautiful and delicious!! I'm happy I'm a Japanese.
It looks so delicious.
Yes, I love いくら salmon roe.
My mother loved 筋子 very much.
But she was told not to eat food such as salmon roe
and shrimp, because of too high cholesterol value.
She was born in Niigata, so it seemed common
to buy blocks of salmon roe and make soy sauced salmon roe
by her self.
But it is bad for her,
soy sauced salmon roe which she made was a little bit salty.
I really like 卵かけご飯（what shall I say?) rice
with raw egg and really fresh good salmon roe
tastes 生卵(raw egg).I love イクラ丼.
Oh, yummy. I want to eat.
As you said, I 'm happy I 'm a Japanese.
We have so many good, delicious food and I think
Japanese food(和食）is the most beautiful and
the most delicious food in the world.
Thank you very much for your comment!
Yeah, I really like the rice with soy sauced salmon roe(Ikura-don).
But I've never eaten the rice with raw egg and fresh salmon roe.
Wow, it's a special Ikura-don,isn't it?
It sounds so delicious!!
I want to eat it next time.
Thanks for sharing how to eat Ikura.
Um, I'm getting hungry already...;)
I've eaten the rice with raw egg and fresh salmon roe for several times.
It's very nice, too.
Why don't you try it?
I'm waiting for the price of Sujiko getting down now. Then I'll make salmon roe, too.
I can't wait!
