I found a pot plant of the young leaves of Japanese pepper at a greengrocery today. Then, I didn't hesitate to buy it because it is usually expensive. The price was 890yen! You also think it's a special price,right? And I like the fresh smell of them.
So I put the young leaves of Japanese pepper on the side dish for dinner. It is the firefly squid and spring onion with vinegar miso. This is a quite seasonal dish in Japan. It is fit for sake or shochu.(^.^)
