Corrections & A Dancing

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

Hi, Thanks for coming to my blog.
I took an English conversation lesson today, and I got some corrections for my blog from my teacher, so I want to inform about my mistakes.
I'm happy if that be useful for you.

We made some dishes with yellowtail and ate them.
Because we got a natural wild fresh yellowtail last week.
I was very surprised when the package of yellowtail arrived at my house.
Actually I didn't know my husband bought it on the Internet.
So, I shouted,”Why did PaPa(my husband) buy it?! Who will cut that big fish?!”
And I emailed " Come home shortly!!" to him.
Well,we cut it at late night late at night after he came home.
It was not easy for us of course.
Can you image imagine our kitchen?
But the sashimi was so delicious at that night late that night.
And the pot food for yellowtail called "Buli Shabu" was really good!
Yeah, we enjoyed cooking some kinds of dishes with yellowtail and eating them
for about four days.
And I felt more thankful for getting the living things because we cut the big fish by ourselves.

pot food...

And I felt...
→ And I felt very thankful for the life of this fish because we finally enjoyed it so much.

By the way, I have been growing soybeans in the PET bottles.
I have them listen to music sometimes.
I guess they like dancing with music.
That looks fun!

A Natural Yellowtail

Hi, How was your weekend?
We made some dishes with yellowtail and ate.
Because we got a natural fresh yellowtail last week.
I was very surprised when the package of yellowtail arrived at my house.
Actually I didn't know my husband bought it on the Internet.

The natural yellowtail from the Sea of Japan.

Carpaccio. One of my cooking for the yellowtail.

That sounds good.

Hi, Thanks for coming to my blog.
I've been learning about sentences for communication on the telephone and Internet this week.

By the way, my husband makes dinner on weekend sometimes.
He likes cooking too.
And the other day I had to go out until night, so he mailed to me.
" Do you want me to make dinner this evening?"
" Yes! If it's not too much trouble."
" I'll make something with fish and vegetable."
" That sounds good. Thank you!"

Yeah, this picture is that dinner he cooked.
Does that look delicious?
Yes, we enjoyed that nice dinner!

「~そう」と言いたい時は、”That sounds ~”や ”That looks ~”
”That sounds good.”

The Beautiful Bird

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

Hi,Thanks for coming to my blog.
The other day I went to the forest in Hayama with my husband and his friend to do birdwatching.
And I met a beautiful bird called SANKOUCHO (Japanese Paradise Flycatcher)for the first time.
SANKOUCHO have a blue bill and around eyes are blue, and the male birds have the long tail.
And that bird's wings were fantastic when it was flying.
And then we watched the male and female brooded eggs alternately in their nest.
I was impressed with their action.
And we enjoyed listening to the beautiful twitters of many birds in the forest.
Yeah, we had a wonderful time!

This picture by my husband.

Today is the beginning of week, and I usually have a lot of housework on Monday.
I did the laundry a lot, cleaned up my house, went to a bank and grocery shopping, etc.
Ah,I did stand chatting with neighbor and got a good information!
Yeah,I enjoyed my housework today too.
And I think housewife is a wonderful job,
because you can manage by yourself and you can help your family, right?

By the way, these are detergents and a nylon sponge for kitchen I use.
And I put bicarbonate into the pot I painted.
I like them;)

Lovely Corrections

Posted by mittanr on   4 comments

Hi, Thanks for coming to my blog.
As you notice, my English is not perfect, so I'm worried about my writing sometimes.
However this is the blog to improve my English, so I want you to forgive my mistakes,
and I'm very happy if we could share something together.

By the way, I took an one-to-one English conversation lesson yesterday.
And I got some corrections and advices for my blog from my teacher.
I was really glad to her heartful advice.
She is my favorite teacher and friend.
We met about five years ago.
And we like healthy food, cooking, traveling and gardening,
Yeah, I want to get talking in English fluently with her.
But that is not easy for me of course.
When I wondered if I stopped this blog and I lost my confidence, she always encouraged me.
Yes, I really appreciate her help.

Well, I write down some corrections below,
I hope these are useful for you too.

From my previous articles.

- It's been cloudy or rainy, hasn't it?
- It's been cloudy and rainy these days, hasn't it?

 or ではなくand. these daysを付けるとよりナチュラル。

- I learned some phrases for the end of communication on the radio couse.
- I learned some phrases for ending a conversation on the radio couse.

 the end of communication
 See you などについてであれば、ending a conversationの方が適切。

- I met old friends of yacht club.
- I met old friends from the yacht club.

 of ではなくfrom.

日本人は、"Where are you from?"
また、foreigner(外国人)という言い方も気になるそうです。
"I met a foreigner." I met someone from another country."

Thank you very much for reading my long writing.
I'd like to have positive thinking, and I'll do my best step by step!

This is the picture I took at Azusa river side in Kamikochi.
I'd like to live like this river.

Have a nice Friday night and a great weekend!!
CU soon;)

What are you into?

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

Hi,Thanks for coming to my blog.
I'm happy if you enjoy reading my article.
As you know we have a difference weather in Japan right now.
It's raining and a little chilly here in Yokohama,
but it's supposed to be sunny and very hot in the Western part of Japan.
Oh, it's a strange weather, isn't it?
By the way, recently, what are you into?
I'm into gardening, and also black tea time recently.
Actually I have taken black tea lesson once a month from May.
I learned about the major source, process, types and how to make good tea, etc.
It's so interesting and delicious!
So, I enjoy drinking black tea often at home.

This picture is the first Black tea lesson.

" right now "の復習

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

Good morning!
It's been cloudy or rainy, hasn't it?
Yeah,it's the rainy season right now, isn't it?
I hope it'll be over soon.

Can you talk right now?

My mother mailed this picture to me a few days ago.
Many loquats ripen at my parent's garden right now.
I heard these were so sweet!

Communicating on the Go 終わり方が大事

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

Good morning!
I learned some phrases for the end of communicating on the radio course today.
And I knew that we shouldn't say just "See you."
And you can say "See you then." or "see you there." when you need to respond quickly.
Yeah, these are convenient phrases!

"See you."

This is one of pics I took when I visited KAMIKOCHI two weeks ago.
I hope you feel a lovely cool breeze.
See you tomorrow.

"be supposed to" の復習

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

Hi, Thanks for visiting my blog always.
I want to review of the radio course "English Conversation Time Trial"
on this blog from now on.
Actually I had been confusing about my goal recently.
And I should go back to the basics.
So, I'll practice making sentences by using phrases that I learned in the radio course.
It's supposed to be useful for my English!

今日学んだのは、be supposed to~

This is the bouquet of vegetables and flowers I made.
We're not supposed to just eat vegetables.
We're supposed to enjoy vegetables by five senses.
This art is supposed to be popular in the future.

A Shopping Bag -

Posted by mittanr on   0 comments

The other day , I took an one-to-one lesson by my favorite English teacher.
We talked about food, planted garden, my goal, etc.
And She gave a souvenir to me from her hometown Vancouver.
It was the shopping bag of Japanese food's supermarket in Canada.
I liked it!
And I checked this supermarket on internet, it was interesting.
http://www.fujiya.ca/
I'm proud of the Japanese owner.
And I'll go to this supermarket if I would visit Vancouver.
