Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Today, I'd like to show pictures of special food for the new year's banquet a company held. The company's name is MATUNO. I have been joining in the company's events as a vegetable's sommelier sometimes. This time, the company invited us to the banquet at Meiji Kinenkan. It was a heart-warming and splendid banquet. And the chef’s special food were made from fruit and vegetables MATUNO prepared. These dishes were really beautiful and delicious! I was impressed with the fusion of wonderful producer, distributer and chef. And I trust the agriculture makes progress in Japan. We had a really wonderful time!!

Hello, thank you for coming to my blog. Today, I want you to see the pictures I took at our English cooking lunch. I cooked Balinese food with my English teacher and my friend yesterday. We had a hard work for cooking because we tried to make real Balinese food, but it was so interesting and sooooo fun! And we enjoyed eating these spicy and savory dishes, and talking about the experience of each other in Bali, etc.
参考にしたバリフードの料理本はこの二冊。 ココナッツオイル、ココナッツシュガー、その他本格的な香辛料や道具も揃えてくれた先生と今回も素敵なキッチンを提供してくれた友達にも心から感謝～。お料理ガンバッタ後はビールで乾杯して、食べて飲んでオシャベリ～楽しかった(^.^)/~ We had a really wonderful time, and all dishes were so delicious!!
Hello, welcome to my blog. As always, I appreciate you're reading my article today. In this page, I'll be writing about two vegetables I got and cooked last week. I think they're the vegetables we seldom see at the regular supermarket. These vegetables are tubers. And these were so easy cooking and delicious!
Threeleaf Arrowhead（Kuwai） This tuber has the sharp bud. And we usually use it for New Year's food.

Today, I'd like to show you some pictures I took at Nishiki-market area in Kyoto. Nishiki-market is called "The kitchen of Kyoto". There are about one hundred shops along the narrow street. We enjoyed seeing a lot of interesting shops, getting some souvenirs and eating food. We were really fun! I'm happy if you would enjoy seeing my pictures.
We visited Sanjusangendo on last Sunday. It is one of my favorite temples in Kyoto. If you never visited Sanjusangendo yet, I really want you to go there. It is also national treasure, and you can see about thousand's Kannon statues in the building. It's so wonderful! Amazing!!
And, this time, my husband and I could see the famous annual event（Omato-Taikai) that be held on new spring season at there. It's a traditional event, and about two thousand young people shoot an arrow at the target. We saw the scene that young women in Kimono(hakama) were shooting an arrow. Cool!
And, the temple held another annual event（Yanagi-no-Okaji) same time. It is the famous ceremony continued since Heian era at Sanjusangendo, and a prayer for good health. All visitor can attend the ceremony for free at that time. It was very very crowded, but we had a great time!
We went to Kyoto last weekend, and visited some temples and saw the national treasures that are not open to the public usual. They are opened in this winter period specially. The oldest and largest existing Zen "Sanmon"gate of Tofuku-ji Temple.
This is the picture I took at the first floor. And we could go into the second floor this time. It was so interesting! We were very impressed with the statue of Buddha and the painting of inside.
Today, I'd like to introduce the colorful potatoes and salad.
I was given the package of these colorful potatoes the other day. There were ten kinds of potatoes in the box. And these potatoes have difference of color and texture. I had never seen purple and red potatoes until now! It's so interesting, isn't it? Besides, anthocyanin is contained in the colored potato, so,the prevention of lifestyle-related disease is expected.
And I made the salad with colorful potatoes. It was very cute and delicious!
As you know, Kagamibiraki is one of the New Year's special traditional events in Japan. We take down the round mirror-shaped rice cakes used in New Year's displays, divide up, and then cook in a dish of sweet adzuki bean soup and eat it on January 11.
I also do Kagamibiraki every year.
This is the sweet adzuki bean soup (zenzai) I made today. I love it!
Today, I got up at 5:40 am., made breakfast for my family, did the laundry, cleaned my house, watered the planter, made some food for lunch, invited my friend, enjoyed eating and talking together very much, went walking a little, took in the laundry, prepared dinner, checked E-mail, called my mother, and I'm writing my blog now as waiting for my family.
I'm hungry now.
I'll eat dinner with my family, take a bath and go to bed midnight.
Anyway, I'd like to spend every precious time happily.
Hi! Welcome to my blog, and thank you so much for visiting!
How are you doing this weekend?
I have been enjoying my free time, shopping for my new clothes, going to a new year's party with my husband and meeting our friends. And we talked about new year's day and the plan of this year each other. I feel very happy. And, I was very glad to get my favorite brand's coat on a new year's sale today. I want to wear it and go out soon! How about you? Did you go to a new year's sale already?
I have been updating articles about food on my blog these days. I'm happy if you like that.
Well, I'd like to show you about this vegetable today.
Do you know Onion-nouveau? And, have you ever eaten it?
The name of this onion comes from harvesting first of all around the world. Yes, so, Onion-nouveau!
And, I heard the best way to cook for them is grill. So, I used the half for Sukiyaki. And the other half was sauted with scallop. Both of onion-nouveau's food were sooooo delicious! It was sweet and melted in my mouth. I really recommend you to eat it.
I made this salad by Ayameyukikabu, salmon roe, mizuna, welsh onion's sprout and yuzu. And I ate this salad with the dressing of yuzu juice, soy sauce and vinegar. It was delicious! I hope you like it.
