How was your Christmas? I hope everyone had a wonderful time.
I spent a happy Christmas with my family as usual.
Well, this year also will finish in one week. Time flies! I guess everyone is very busy to the housecleaning and the preparation for New Year. I also still have a lot of things I have to do.
By the way, I bought small apples at a supermarket today. The size is like a ping-pong ball. It's very cute! And the balance between sweetness and sourness is good.
And,the apple contains many dietary fibers, potassium and polyphenol such as catechin. And the Western proverb says " An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Yes, the apple has a high nutritive value. I love apples!
Oh! It'll finish this year in two weeks, right? Probably, everyone has been busy lately. Even I have a hasty time. And I think you have also a few times or a lot of parties for Christmas or Year-end. It's so fun, of course! But, be careful about too much drinking and eating. Me too!
By the way, we had the Christmas party with relatives last Sunday. We ate Italian food and enjoyed playing bingo game.
Last Saturday, I went to the concert by Taro Hakase with my friends. He is a famous violinist and musician in Japan, and he plays music from classics to pops as you know. I was impressed with the collaborated music and image on the stage this time. And I was excited at the energetic concert, very fun! So, we gave him and his band a standing ovation. Yeah, we had a quite wonderful time!!
And I'm very thankful to my friend who gets ticket anytime. Thank you, Rika-chan!
The pottery's studio is in Kumamoto. And the potter and my father are familiar. So, I visited the pottery's studio and gallery with my parents when I went to Kumamoto last week, and we saw the kiln this time. It was so interesting!
Have you ever seen the kiln? Actually I saw it for the first time. And this kiln is made by the potter. It’s amazing, isn’t it? Anyway I want you to enjoy seeing these photos.
This big kiln is in hillside. The potters continue putting firewood in the small hole of kiln for four days.
I went into the kiln! The inside 登り窯上部にある小さな入口から中に入り見た内部の様子です！ 写真中央の光が差し込んでいる小さな窓が焚き口になります。
His two sons are also potters. So,there're difference type's potteries in the gallery. Gallery
Thank you for visiting my blog. Today,I'd like to introduce a salad. Do you know this vegetable? It's called "Suizenjina". When I came to my hometown Kumamoto last week,I made the salad with this vegetable for my parents. It was easy cooking, delicious, and my parents were really delighted.
By the way, Suizenjina have purple on the back of leaves. And it has a high nutrition, such as vitamin A,C,Potassium, calcium, iron etc.
Which airlines do you usually use? I usually use ANA when I go to Kumamoto, but I rode Skymark Airlines for the first time. Because I could get a bargain price airplane ticket. It was the cheapest price among the airplane ticket to Kumamoto from Tokyo. The price of two-way ticket was 18,800yen! I was worried about the service, but I didn't have any problem. Only delay bothered me a little. Anyway,I hope the airplane ticket will be cheap if the airlines insure safety.
