Hi, thank you for your visit. By the way, do you like vegetables? What is your favorite vegetable? I really like tomato.
And do you know there are how many kinds of tomatoes in the world? I heard there are about ten thousand kinds! Wow, it's unbelievable, isn't it?
Well, I got a gift of tomato from my sister last week. I was really glad! Thanks~~! And, three kinds of tomatoes in the box, and they were soooo beautiful! So, first I took photos of these tomatoes. And I'd like to show you them today.
Toscana Violet (トスカーナバイオレット) This was born in North Italian Tuscany known as the wine making area. They have red purple color like grape, small and a little sour and sweet. I made a nice salad with the other vegetables.
Piccola Canaria (ピッコラカナリア) They are yellow, so sweet and mini-tomatoes. I love them, so I ate them as snacks.
Sicilian Rouge (シシリアンルージュ) This type of tomatoes were born in Siciliennes in the Mediterranean. Their looks is clear red and oval shape, and they fit to cook. So I made tomato sauce for spaghetti.
Yeah, my family and I enjoyed eating tomato everyday, so we are healthy and happy!!
Hello, thank you so much for visiting my blog. Today, I'd like to share a nice French restaurant with you. The other day, I was invited to a dinner by MATSUNO corporation. The restaurant's place is the 12F of Ginza Mitsukoshi, and the restaurant's name is LES ROSIERS EGUZKILORE that got one star from Michelin.
And, MATSUNO has been furnishing fruit and vegetables to the restaurant. We ate a special French dinner at there. So I'd like to show you some photos.

All dishes were beautiful and delicious, and we enjoyed talking together. So we really had a wonderful time!!
Last Saturday, I tried Kintsukuroi(金繕い）for the first time.
"Kintsukuroi" is to repair the pottery that lacked and cracked by Japanese lacquer and gold. We also call "Kintsugi（金継ぎ）" or "Kinnaoshi（金直し）" about that. I think it is a revival way for pottery peculiar to Japan.
Actually I had wanted to repair a pottery from before. It's a very precious and memorial pottery for me. So I really happy I could repair it! Besides, the lesson was easy ,nice and so inexpensive. I was very glad it revived beautifully!!
It's really hot every day, isn't it? I hope you are doing fine in spite of this lingering summer heat.
Today, I'd like to show you some photos I took in the garden of my parents' home in Kumamoto. They have some kinds of fruit trees. I was glad to find these fruits at there, and I'm looking forward to eating them. These fruits are cute, right?!
By the way, did you go to the sea already this summer? I heard people have been avoiding the marine leisure in Japan this summer. Yeah, I think it can't be helped.
But, I went to do sea kayaking with my husband and his friends last weekend. We go to Miura in Kanagawa Prefecture to join the tour for sea kayaking every summer. I'm not good at sea kayaking though this was the fourth for me, so I always follow the others with all my might. But I can feel the quietness of the sea when I'm in the offing alone. And I'm always impressed with the large-scale sea and nature at that time.
Well, we landed on a secret beach that is about five kilometers away from the starting beach.
And we enjoyed snorkeling and eating lunch at there. We could see some tropical fish and marine creatures at there. And I was surprised to find a lot of sea urchin!

In the return, the wave was a little high, so I felt tired to paddle, but we all returned safely. We had a really wonderful time this summer too!!
I went to my hometown Kumamoto with my husband last week. And we went on overnight trip to Kurokawa hot springs with my parents. Kurokawa hot springs is one of the famous and popular spa in the deep in the mountains in Kumamoto. We have been to there several times until now, and we like the relaxing and traditional atmosphere. So, I'd like to show you some photos today. I'm happy if you enjoy seeing these photos.

The other day, I picked blueberries in the fruit garden with my parents. The garden is a small orchard of some fruit that my father started as his hobby in my hometown Kumamoto. There are trees such as blueberry, persimmon, chestnut, summer orange, little apple, kiwi fruit and grape, etc. And, it was the best season for blueberry this time.
My parents are amateur, so the blueberry have been becoming the mass of giant trees like a jungle! But, they had a rich crop this year. So, we harvested blueberries about 4kg in only one hour!!
After that, my mother and I sorted blueberries into two for fresh blueberry and jam. And my mother usually gives jam that she made to neighbors. It was really delicious and wonderful!!!
I knew it was a hard work to harvest, sort blueberries and make jam. And, I think these blueberries are so delicious because filled with a lot of love and hand.
