The other day, I got this fresh daikon from one of my favorite English teachers. She has vegetable's garden, and she pulled it that morning when she came to my home. So,it was fresh very much!
I heard it's called purple daikon. Um,,,it had white skin and a long purple tail! Yeah, very cute!! When I cut it, the inside color was pale purple. How beautiful!
And I made salad with this purple daikon, red cabbage's sprouts and yuzu miso dressing.
This daikon's had a good taste, so this salad was delicious! And I made stir-fry with greens of this daikon, it was also very good. Besides, greens have high nutrition. So, it's useful for our health! I really enjoyed this purple daikon. Thank you;)
Today, I'd like to introduce the colorful potatoes and salad.
I was given the package of these colorful potatoes the other day. There were ten kinds of potatoes in the box. And these potatoes have difference of color and texture. I had never seen purple and red potatoes until now! It's so interesting, isn't it? Besides, anthocyanin is contained in the colored potato, so,the prevention of lifestyle-related disease is expected.
And I made the salad with colorful potatoes. It was very cute and delicious!
I made this salad by Ayameyukikabu, salmon roe, mizuna, welsh onion's sprout and yuzu. And I ate this salad with the dressing of yuzu juice, soy sauce and vinegar. It was delicious! I hope you like it.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Today,I'd like to introduce a salad. Do you know this vegetable? It's called "Suizenjina". When I came to my hometown Kumamoto last week,I made the salad with this vegetable for my parents. It was easy cooking, delicious, and my parents were really delighted.
By the way, Suizenjina have purple on the back of leaves. And it has a high nutrition, such as vitamin A,C,Potassium, calcium, iron etc.
